The museum is really amazing to visit, it is around 40 KM from Amsterdam. The museum has a lot of things to offer and you will learn a lot about the Dutch culture. Don't miss visiting that beautiful place. I would recommend you spend the day here and come back to Amsterdam because here everything is expensive compared to Amsterdam.

Here in ZAANS MUSEUM you can feel the miniature Holland of the old days...a place worth visiting, buying wooden souvenirs, or taking beautiful pictures!

We did not go inside the museum as it was getting late for us and was a little tired. But lots to look at outside in that area so that is what I will show you here. Lots of people and a really good musician that we sat in the steps and listened to. Google will not let me post the video of the guy signing. It is a shame because he is worth hearing. Highly recommended.

Beautiful windmill village not too far away from Amsterdam central station. There is no entrance fee to visit the village. You can take bus NO.391 for about 11 Euros behind Amsterdam central station, it takes about 40 minutes to get there. This would be a great one day or half day trip if you wanna see more about Holland. You can see how they make wooden shoes and also try many samples of different flavored cheese as possible. If you love photography then this is a must go place !

The places is very beautiful, specially in summers. The village is situated on the banks of Zaans river. It is known for being the first trade and industrial hub of Netherlands. Some of the best brands of Netherlands started their business here. You can reach here by bus or train both connect the village good. Don't miss to do shopping at Zaandam to see the shared pic

A wonderful day trip out from Amsterdam. Windmills galore and the cocoa processing factory adds a chocolatey scent to your stroll. Many picturesque houses sit besides the river. However the wind can be quite intense, so if you have sensitive ears bring an ear cover. Overall incredibly easy to access from the train station and certainly worth it.
