We ordered 2 50cl beers, cheese plate, sausage plate. The service was ok, thought it was weird that we got a bill before we got our plates. Had to ask for table to be cleaned, and napkins. The ambience was nice being next to the dyke. Beers were cold, sausage was pleasing, bill was around 29eu. Toilets cost 50c even if your a patron! Wow!

Nice staff, good coffees (especially Dutch). However, the service missed cleaning the table between customers and servett was also missing. Prices are the same or even higher than in Amsterdam.
Great location to sit. But worst experience to take a mean. Expensive and not good food. Service can be improved. We waited 15min to get the menu.
I went there with a friend last Sunday. The terrace was not full at all but the staff ignored us for 30 minutes straight. When we tried to wave they turned their head away. When they finally came they did not apologise and were very very rude and obnoxious. First we asked for Aperol Spritz but waiter looked at me like I was nuts and said she never heard of that. At the end we ordered food and 2 lemonades which was tap water with syrup. At the end I asked the waiter if she could give me some scissors for my bandaid, she told me to “get it myself”.
Good coffee and complimentary shot of local conjum. Lovely brake from walking among the mills. The apple pie was good also.

The woman that works on the souvenir store was so rude and unpolite. That's not the way you're supposed to speak and treat customers and visitors/tourist.
Ordered chicken sandwich & ham sandwich. Very poor quality with bread and lack of filling. Fast food Burgers are better value. Paid 8 euro each. Avoid them unless you are starved to death.
