De Kat - The only working paint and dye mill in the whole entire world. It is amazing. You can see the paint and dye being made and explore the levels of the windmill and see the moving machinery. When me and my family came, we bought a combo ticket for the windmill. It is about 5 admission for adults and 2 admission for under 17 s. Photos can be taken. The paint and dye produced can be bought from the shop as well as other items. There is a balcony where there are amazing views. I am amazed and satisfied with this visit and recommend going. It is also free with the iamsterdam card
Very scenic place. You can enter this windmill and watch the gears operate. Very interesting. The place sells nice hot chocolate too.
absolutely beautiful! look for the small dock for great picture opportunities. Also, get there early before the tourist crowds arrive. There's no price to pay for walking around the town.
Visit a piece of art history. Fascinating to experience the birth of the reds, blues and yellows that have shaped European Art over the years. A great, working mill with an interesting story. Definitely worth a visit.
