February 2021....Absolutely appalling company. I wish I had read the review before signing up. We had smart meters fitted just before joining this company in July 2020 and signed the direct debit form to make things easier to pay for only what we have used. It now seems they have been using estimated readings since the very start and helped themselves to 3117.37 of our money more than they were owed, some of which has now been refunded but I am waiting for the rest. I called today to cancel my direct debit to stop this happening and was told if I did they would charge an extra 10.00 per month admin fee!!! (maybe I should charge them interest on the money they have illegally taken from my account) The customer service is total shambles, phone calls are in a queue for over 40 minutes then cut off, the 'Live Chat' is not live at all - it just issues you with a ticket which is not answered for days and multiple messages & emails go unanswered. I know we are all under pressure at work due to restrictions but Covid is not an excuse to provide terrible service. I hope this improves - next stop Ombudsman

would give this company 0 stars if i could, firstly was told i could get a gas meter in my business for free so i went with them then i was informed my standing charge was high to 1.50 a day high to claw back for the free meter, they then billed me for gas and standing charges before i even got the meter in and now they are wanting money for gas not used when our business is in lockdown have told them this so they have sent an agency out to threaten us with disconnection have the proof so take me to court need a day out

Beware - what they don't tell you is that their cheaper prices are offset by a much lower level of service - no way of getting copy invoices online and no-one reads you meter - you have to submit you own readings every month or you will end up with an excessive estimated bill. They are also unique in that they don't offer a cooling off period (I wonder why) and you cant cancel. I'm now stuck with them for two years !!
