Yvonne was a superstar from start to finish - we knew straight away she was our lady for the job. She's bonkers but brilliant and exactly the person you need following you on your wedding day :) She's super talented as the photo's speak for themselves, we love that they're not 'too edited' with a filteryness that's unrealistic of the day. They're true to life images capturing all the important moments of the day Worth a mention is her really personal level of Customer Service, she's wonderful! We received little gifts & touches through the post in the run up to the wedding and the USB package you get with your final photos is just beautiful and so thoughtful. Yvonne photographed our summer wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made about the day! We didn’t want ‘posed shots’ and we lived outside of the UK so we wanted to just spend as much time as possible with family and friends enjoying our day. Yvonne was brilliant - she was such a friendly face to all our guests and our photos from the day are incredibly treasured. Lots of laughing, colour and ‘real’ moments. We could not be happier with them or the service Yvonne provided! She was fantastic!
No words could describe how blessed we feel to have had a photographer as talented and wonderful as Yvonne to capture our wedding day. Not only did Yvonne make us feel completely at ease in front of the camera (which is a BIG deal for two awkward people like us!), she captured the day perfectly and in such a stunning way that we've had numerous guests tell us that our wedding photos are the best they've ever seen. Yvonne made us feel so special from the very first contact to the engagement shoot that helped us relax in front of the camera, to the arrival of our photos in a beautiful package through the mail. I almost happy cried because of her 'surprises' one or two times :-) (You may know what the surprises are if you've ever booked Yvonne!). Amidst the whirlwind of wedding planning, it's wonderful to have someone so constant and great at what they do that you know you can trust them completely without having to chase them up at all. We loved having Yvonne share our wedding day with us and will treasure her beautiful photos of our wedding day forever.
Yvonne's photos are spectacular. She has an amazing skill of photographing the real nuts and bolts of a wedding, not just the traditional, romantic side of the day. Her photos of our special day somehow managed to capture our personality, the madness of our friends, the nerves of the morning, the post-ceremony elation and everyone's drunken shenanigans. What's even more remarkable is how unobtrusive she is. You'll barely notice she's taking an amazing photo of you! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
We chose Yvonne to photograph our wedding in may because of her quirkiness and her individual style of work. We had a pre wedding shoot prior to the wedding in the lakes which was loads of fun. She listened to what we wanted aswell as adding in her own personal touches. She captured our day perfectly, going with the flow, and the end results were amazing. Memories that we can share with others and memories that will last a life time. We would highly recommend Yvonne Lishman Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
