Very lovely meal with great fresh flavours. I had a Chicken Palak and it was delicious. I have had lots from here in the past and it has always been great with good service.
Was informed my order would be ready to collect in 40 mins, on arrival I was left waiting for another 25 mins for my food, the restaurant was not busy (only one table of customers). I could hear staff shouting in the kitchen and when I returned home 2 dishes were missing from my order, I phoned and complained and asked for the money of the dishes to be refunded and was told I’d receive a call back and never received the call. Will not be returning.
I got annoyed when a staff member who take my order told me that eat out help out was in place when in reality it wasn't when I paid the bill. The staff didn't know about it but they say 'yes'. Asked for extra mild and my dish arrived super hot. no extra measures covid proofed in place, thay asked me to leave my contact in a page where I could read others tel n. And I used a pen that probably was used by anothers before me. Won't be back sorry. Shame only for one particular staff member that was keen to make right for me...but just asking 'how is your meal?… Sometimes it is not enough.
In a word....Gorgeous, Debden is lovely anyway. the decor is lovely, outdoor eating is lovely, great food and great staff! Would highly recommend :-)
