Very little response, unless chased via phone and email. Phone calls are not often answered. Quality of the service is poor with the contract stating that regular inspections are carried out, however this has been proven otherwise and the complaint manager stated in her response that the agents are not \building specialist\, hence your investment is managed from people who don't have the skills to tell a a damp patch from a leak. After been unable to even raise a formal complaint, this estate agent is not publishing their complaint procedure on their website, I am now having to use an insecure site to unsubscribe from their newsletter. Enjoy the pictures of the perfectly habitable bedroom and of the error on their certificate. Edit: I have been personally requested to edit out my review from the third parties involved. Edit: last week we were notified of a substantial amount of money pending on our closed account, apparently Your Move forgot to move the electricity account in the name of the new tenants, even after we had communicated to the electricity company we didn't live to that address since the end of August and the electricity company specifically said we need to wait for the estate agency to communicate that to us. Is November now.
James was supportive throughout the whole selling process and kept me updated all the time - especially helpful as I didn’t live in the property being sold and was a two hour drive away. Everyone in the office was friendly and easy to deal with. The overall atmosphere made things a pleasure as opposed to a chore.
From past experiences with other estate agents I always expect the worst when renting a flat. I was pleasantly supprised to find Danielle was the complete opposite. She brought a breath of fresh air to the entire process from finding and recommending properties to viewings and completion. It made a change to have an estate agent actually show an interest and not just unlock the door of the flat making this moving process much less daunting. Highly recommended.
I can't fault James Castell. He is so personable, helpful and proactive. He goes above and beyond and you will always be in safe hands with him!
