Thank you to Amy for her fantastic help during our venture of our first rental. She helped up through the paperwork, which as first time renters can be quite tricky. The viewing of the property was fantastic and as a result, we are looking at my very first home with my partner. Very informative and able to answer any questions we had and were accomadating. My partner and I started looking at properties for our first home together and stumbled across a property late one evening. When she called the next morning we were offered an appointment on the same day, late on a Saturday afternoon with Amy. Amy was prompt and immediately very friendly, even when struggling with a stuck front door! We immediately felt at ease during the viewing and Amy answered any questions we had. During the paperwork processes which were all new to us. Amy explained them all easily and clearly. In short, we'd recommend Your Move and Amy in a heartbeat!
Last year I purchased a home via Your Move. Our independent surveyor said he found a high damp reading in the kitchen, so I contacted Your Move and said obviously I'm concerned and don't want to go ahead with the purchase until we know what's going on. I was informed that Your Move have damp specialists that deal with their rental properties and they'll organise it for me. Stupidly I trusted this. A few days later I received a call to say that their damp specialist found no evidence of damp or high readings, and I was told sometimes these anomalies happen on rainy days etc. We went ahead with the house purchase. Days after I moved in, I found that the kitchen wall was so damp that you could push your finger far into the concrete wall. I was devastated. I contacted Your Move who told me that the estate agent I had dealt with no longer works there, and that was it. 11 months later and the wall is still really damp, and I still have the 'sold' sign taking up space in my back garden. I just want to warn anybody buying your first home - find and use your own surveyors and specialists.
From the first impression we had already felt this agency will help us to find the right property. This was the case! we have been looking for a new flat for few months and Amie helped us a lot in any way possible. She was very responsive for any sort of requests. She gave us great and genuine advices trying to understand our needs and preferences. All the process was smooth and easy. We did not have any sort of trouble. All our friends told us to be careful while dealing with agencies but we are glad to say that we very pleased and happy. Also we received all the documents in a clear and digital format too. The agency also had a clear Covid policy on place. We are very happy and we will use the same agency in the future, hopefully to buy one cosy house. Again, I would like to highlight Amie professionalism, kindness and manners. Welldome guys!
