Wow. Just wow. This is the best sushi I've ever had in my life, the creativity...the beauty...the taste. Everything here is just on a different level of excellence. I'll probably never travel to Japan, but today I felt like I did.
There is no doubt, the food here is delicious. I really like the simple decor and how you can see them making the sushi at the bar. I will say the wait time for our rolls was quite high, however based on what I saw it seemed only one of the cooks made our 4 rolls. The other cooks seemed to be very busy prepping different types of fish for dinner service. I overheard one of them mentioning they expected to get slammed tonight.
We loved the variety of rolls and flavors. We loved that, because we did take out, they clearly labeled all the rolls. When we did pick up the food was done right when we got there. Definitely worth a stop by and we'll be back. We literally had to stop ourSelves from getting everything because it all sounded so good!
Drove 3 hours from KC to experience the best sushi I've had in my life (I've also been to Japan 6 times). Omaha is truly lucky to have this restaurant. We did the Omakase with a group of friends and the experience was amazing. You will rarely find fish with the quality of this level due to the chef's sourcing connections. Every bite was more delicious. Can't say enough good things about the Chef and our experience. Also, they take every precaution given the current covid environment we live in.
