Yorkshire Bank

I was recently informed that the Yorkshire Bank in market place Wigan is due to permanently be closed on Monday the 15'th of march 2021 due to cost cutting measures by Yorkshire Bank who purchased virgin money two years ago and will be trading under the name of virgin money after the 15'th of march 2021 unfortunately for the staff at Wigan branch they have been offered early redundancy or the disgraceful offer of having to reapply for their current positions in branches further afield and if unsuccessful will be resigned to the scrap heap of unemployment through no fault of their own!!! The nearest branches available to the people of Wigan are in Bolton Lancashire near the Fred dibnah statue now trading under the virgin money brand and Saint Helens and Preston or you can deposit money in your account at any local post office in the local area but may only be able to do certain transactions.
