I recently started the York School of Jewellery and it’s simply fantastic! I attend once a week, and every time I leave I cannot wait to return for the next class. You certainly learn a lot (developing skills and knowledge) whilst having a lot fun along the way. I would highly recommend. If you’re looking for a new and exciting challenge that can become a fabulous hobby, or even to eventually turn into a business, this is where you need to be. You won’t regret it.

Love going to jewellery class at York School of Jewellery! It has a really good vibe and small, friendly classes. Nick and Julie are experts in a wide range of jewellery making techniques and can offer extra instruction in other areas such as silversmithing, enamelling and soldering. Classes are relaxed, follow students interests and supports their creativity. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
Lots of fun to be had whilst gaining skills and knowledge. I have been attending for a short while and can already say it’s been a brilliant experience. To slowly see and learn about a craft that results in a beautiful product is simply amazing. I thoroughly enjoy attending with my daughter and would highly recommend to anyone.
When I started at YJS I knew nothing about jewellery making but wanted to try something new. With the skill and patients of Nick, I am beginning to learn and understand the craft behind making a piece of jewellery. My confidence and skills grow week on week. A great experience
I have been attending York School of Jewellery for a number of years and enjoy making silver jewellery for my friends and myself. Julie and Nick are both very patient with all their students and you can be sure of a good time. Look forward to my class every week
