I had one of the best experiences I've ever had with this drs surgery. I had just moved to York and needed an emergency appointment and the team bent over backwards to help me. The receptionist, manager and Doctor were all incredible and I cannot thank them enough. I nearly didn't register here due to the bad reviews I read, but my personal experience couldn't have been further from those listed.

I've been with this surgery since 2006, The treatment I've received has always been excellent. I'm not sure why they have this rather undeserved 2.1 star rating but looking at the other reviews it's entirely the effects of Jeremy Hunt's ill advised cuts to essential services and the resulting extra work for everyone that goes along with it. Do not expect the moon on a stick, they're doing the best they can with the resources they have.

i’ve been suffering from many heavy issues struggling to breath, feeling faint, massive pressure buildup in my neck and head, swollen glands, whirling and popping noises in my ears and feeling ill 24/7 for 3 months straight. i can never get any sort of appointments at all a emergency phone call is a long shot and actually been able to see a doctor is close to impossible, when you finally do get in you have the pleasure of dealing with unbelievably rude reception staff that are no help at all absolutely none they really really ruin the surgery had atleast 5 unpleasant experiences with them. and then the doctor / nurses i’ve seen can’t help but interrupt you when explaining symptoms and truly make you feel like ( whats the point in me been hear and talking ) rudely interrupts and kind of just guesses a medication for you to take and hope it works classic york medical group line ( lets try these 3 different medications for 3 months if they don’t work come back ) you wouldn’t believe it but this is 110% true and accurate! terrible staff, rude staff, unprofessional staff, incapable staff, unwilling to help, obnoxious staff overall experience in 5 to 7 visits in my life and every year some how its just keeps getting worse.
