Brilliant lesson! Really enjoyed the whole class from start to finish. Lots of good tips I'll be incorporating into my cooking from now on! Covid - attention has been given to keeping everyone safe, no complaints at all.

I did a chocolate course here led by Andy last Sunday. I have participated in many cookery courses because I enjoy them, and have been doing them for many years now. This was by far one of the best courses EVER! Andy was superb. Very personable, professional, very skilled and most importantly he was a great teacher. The facilities are incredible. I'd quite like to have them as my own kitchen. The small touches made a huge difference like being provided with a soft drink when wine was brought round, given the recipes in a binder, presentation box for the chocolate etc. Small touches can make the difference between four stars and five stars. This is definitely a FIVE star venue. I hope to attend another course soon.

Had such a fabulous cookery class learning to prepare Asian food which tasted amazing. Great set up. Chef was brilliant and very friendly. For those coming outside York by train it's walking distance around 5 mins

For Christmas my husband bought me a course at a cooking school... not because I'm a bad cook but that I LOVE cooking, and he thought that i would enjoy a day creating something new. There were 6 people on my particular course, some with friends and some like me who were flying solo. Everyone had a great time. The chefs, Andrew and Scott were friendly and very knowledgeable, helping with giving us alternatives and substitutions if required. they also gave us details of where the produce was from which was nice to know and hopefully we will be able to source things from the same place in the future... shop local and all that... The facilities are excellent, plenty of food/drink breaks which were well spaced and nice food shared with other participants. The chefs demonstrated the various courses, we did most of the demos at individual work stations, plenty of help offered and it tasted amazing. the trout was absolutely amazing... i have never really thought about cooking trout before and I'm a convert... in fact l will be making it tonight for the family. It was the first time this course had been done and I would recommend it as it is easier than I thought to get ingredients and make the dishes, takes time but it is great, just i will definitely be going again!
