My friend's favourite Strasbourg japanese restaurant turned out to be as good as she said) I asked for a voucher to give to a friend as a gift, and they were able to provide it in a simple written way. We used it today! Fish is fresh and the staff is really friendly.

The employee service was nice but very slow, the rice and the beef was good, but the seasoning was boring and without life. Only if you got stuck.
Dear restaurant owner, consider CLOSING your restaurant if you don't have the food on your menu available. Today is Saturday, I've come for lunch, drawn here by the positive reviews and the creative sushi rolls. Upon reviewing the menu I found all the rolls I wanted to order. Unfortunately the menu in the restaurant says that the specialty rolls can only be ordered at night and not during the day, why? I asked for an exception was told no, despite the fact that the only order the chef was working on would be mine. Second, I decided to choose something from the 'nouveauties' menu, then was told that the items were unavailable. Leaving only the standard sushi choices that every other damn sushi restaurant in France sells. I've decided to take the cheapest item on the menu as I'm hungry and need energy. Thank you Yonako for a truly forgettable experience. #FAIL
Below average food with very long waiting time. I wouldn't recommend this place for any occasion. Based on previous review it seems that they have either changed owner or chef.

Did the restaurant change owner recently? The food and service there don't match the good reviews at all! Sushi is very plain, miso soup is quite watery and we had to wait 40 mins before the food was served in a NOT busy Thursday evening! I wonder where are the good reviews coming from.
Best sushi I have had till now! Go for the specials.
