Great sushi and food. Excellent

English limited but the sushi chef I was seated in front took my order and appeared to understand. Chirashi: supposed to be sashimi pieces but came as thinly sliced fish more akin to nigiri which was not expected/disappointing, and came with a huge bowl of miso soup, but is very economical for 1700 yen. Unusual tamago nigiri.

Always enjoyed sushi with SUSHI ZANMAI. But this time was disappointing. Probably quality of the catch was poor overall.

Sushi Zanmai is my favorite budget Sushi place to go. The original atmosphere at the \Honten\ next to were the sushi market used to be is the best of the chain. You might bump into the chain owner. Even if you don't see him but you feel the rise in energy in the surrounding when he arrives.
