We have been with yetholm for a year now and signed for another! we could not recommend them highly enough , had a couple of minor issues through out the year but all were resolved quickly by their friendly professional team, if you are looking to rent in Newcastle this is the company to use

Rented with these guys last year as a student. Very reasonably priced rent and helpful staff. Halfway through our tenancy our shower started having problems and so we got a much fancier power shower installed as a result! Can't recommend these guys enough, would've rented with them this year but left it too late to get the sort of property I wanted. No problems getting our deposit back at the end as well, all round great experience.

Awful letting agency. Tried to claim 450 for 'dust on the windowsill' and 'mould under the fridge.' Challenged them on it and they had the audacity to shout at me down the phone. Took plenty of pictures when moving out and submitted them to the Deposit Protection scheme adjudicators who sided with us, and we got our deposit back. Response to owner's response: Yes, I'm sure it's your letting agency who did this to us. We rented a large property in Heaton and left the property spotless. We were then very surprised to see that Yetholm had claimed 450 for some dust and a bit of mould. I rang up your office and asked why you were doing this and one of your male staff members, Colin, ended up shouting at me and saying that I \better have proof\ and that the DPS would side with them. In fact, we had taken lots of photos and Yetholm provided none to the DPS adjudicators. The DPS returned the deposit saying there was not sufficient evidence to withhold the deposit. Despite the review being left in December time, as you say, this review was about a tenancy that ended in September 2015. We were dismayed by the experience with Yetholm. We had had a good experience renting with them in our first year and that prompted us to rent with them again. Unfortunately, we left with a bitter taste in our mouth. I wouldn't touch this small company with a bargepole.
