A terrible place full of trees, walks,fresh air and a meandering river set into the glorious Dartmoor landscape. A place where you can have family fun all day, there are facilities on site as well. I wouldn't waste your time visiting

Perfect spot for a splash in the river. It can get very busy though so keep that in mind. The best part by far is the reason up to the tors. Depending on your walking ability you can either go oh a gentle walk through the woods, or stretch it out and sirens the day going up a couple of tors and get off the beaten track a little. We have two small children and usually take a gentle stroll up to believer tor, followed by a picnic by the river near the car park.

Lovely spot. Walked up and down the river. First time there. Will do a forest walk next time. Our dog loved it. So pleased to see toilet facilities..excellent.

Amazing place, so peaceful beautiful views .A must place to visit for picnic or hiking

Nice place for a walk. Can be very, very muddy if its been raining so be warned there. If a dry day take plenty of water and wear good walking boots.
