Lovely old place to have a pint and a bit to eat. Staff are very friendly and the food (Home made burger and chips) was excellent. Social distancing was observed. Parking out the back. Dog friendly.

Friendly and cozy atmosphere makes the Whyte Harte staff a great classic pub. Worth checking out garden and potting shed which have been transformed for summer. For food, delicious roasts on Sunday and quick supper of fajitas earlier in the week.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. This place has always been a stable place for a good night with excellent food and a great selection of local ales, and of course friendly and helpful staff. Chia, the owner, has recently revamped the entire venue, and it is light and breezy and is even more comfortable to be in. You cannot go wrong here.

Nice older location with a warm, inviting interior. The staff were friendly and were good at chatting. Service was prompt and my food came out quickly. Didn't have time to partake in a full meal but I did enjoy my Whitebait which also was the first time I've tried the dish. It was quite tasty and I definitely would eat it again. Nice location and it was an easy walk. I'd recommend a visit to this pub!
