First time ordered form here a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the quality. Was fresh and hot and best of all wasn't greasy (which unfortunately a lot of local takeaways are guilty with) Ordered again and same good quality - even my folks who are seasoned henry wong fans were impressed. Tom Yum fried rice is something else - which I've not had ever before. Proprietor and chefs obviously care about the quality of their product and it shows. Keep up the good work.
I've been to Yau for a few years now but I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. Yes, the food is fresh and the very is crisp. The first thing I taste as soon as I take a mouthful is SUGAR. It's as sweet as a dessert. And a truck load of salt. This dishes are pretty much inedible for me. Extremely dehydrating& not enjoyable to eat, sorry!
Never even got to taste the food... No pick ups allowed, unless at a very specific time. Baffling. I had to call the takeaway even though I was stood outside. Truly awful. I left hungry after being told to wait a full 45 mins before I could order. Be advised NO WALK-INS. What has the world come to?!!!!
We have since been ordering from Yau EVERY week for months now as the food is so good, as is the service. Our favourite Chinese takeaway!
