I love Yarmouth Pier. This local marvel undergoes periodic restoration and honours those who donate funds to the project by inscribing their names in the planking of the walkway. Great views of the locale, especially the fort, from the end of the pier. My only complaint is that the local fisherman often leave a filthy mess around the shelter at the pier's end, which in warm weather smells very, very bad.
As usual very relaxing.

Quite old, only grade II listed pier in UK - all wooden. Lovely views across the Solent and very nice sunsets...also great to watch the ferries come and go...
