Staying in Grimsby with work for the first time, so I though it would be rude not to have fish and chips. Found this one a short distance from where I was staying. I was a bit perturbed by the fact that they didn't do cod at all, but it was explained to me that Grimsby locals don't eat cod. So, when in Rome! A choice of three sizes of haddock, served with crinkle cut chips. One of the best plates of fish and chips I have ever had! The fish could not have been fresher or tastier, big creamy flakes of meat. Absolutely superb! My only regret is that I didn't go sooner on in my stay, I could have honestly eaten these all week! Thank you!
Very nice fish and chips that we had from here. Having lived in the local area, I have been to this chippie many times over the last 40 years and it has always been consistent quality and friendly service
