I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how their customer service is always good and they keep the place neat at all times. Prices are affordable and they serve large portions.

The food here is really good and very reasonably priced. I ordered the salmon poke bowl topped with their homemade ponzu sauce. Soooooo yummy! And the lady that works here is super kind and sweet. I highly recommend this place and will be returning!
I have been a customer here for about a year, but from my first visit I fell in love with this quaint place. Young and her husband provide amazing quality food with reasonable prices and their customer service is through the roof. If you need a reason to visit this place, aside from the food, go for the amazing quality and friendly vibes. I order the Beef Udon everytime. This is home style food that will warm you up from the inside out. I am obsessed with this cute restaurant, its amazing food and incredible people.
The owners are a very friendly couple, and the food here is great! Initially we went to little tokyo for dinner, but because of the massive lines and crowds we decided to head back to Silverlake. We got take out here instead. The food is tasty, freshly cooked, and very affordable. Bonus points because there was no crowd.
UPDATE (4/12) This is Andy, the son of the owners of Yami Yaki once again to, unfortunately notify everyone from our local regulars to new customers, that will remain closed until further notice.
