Miso with cod was delicious. The flavours in all the food were great. It's more Japanese fusion than Japanese. I had a Korean Old fashioned cocktail which I enjoyed. Wine was also tasty. Downside: we booked for 9pm on Friday as only other option was 6pm which was too early for me. We waited 20 minutes outside before our table was ready so not a great start to an already late dinner. They were very apologetic once we highlighted this.

Where do I begin! This place was fantastic. We had to wait 15 minutes after our reservation time but it was well worth the wait in every sense of the word. We were served by Angela who provided excellent recommendations on food and was so lovely from start to finish. The scallops, lamb cutlets, lobster roll, and pork belly were the stars of the evening.

Nice place for an date night. If it wasn’t for eat out to help out, I probably wouldn’t have gone with my wife. Food quality is good. Sashimi is very fresh and yummy. Each fish’s unique flavour shone through. Tempura is nicely fried, but sauce lacking in turnip paste. Crab roll is a shame - can’t taste the crab as it’s overwhelmed both in taste and in look by the sauce. The light above our dining table was broken, so it was too dark to take any photos!

Had a wonderful birthday meal last night. Very expensive but worth it for a special occasion. Food and sake was all immense and we loved our waitress Alex who was so lovely and attentive and we remembered her from our last time. I do wish the chopsticks were of a higher standard - the meal is premium but the chopsticks are what you’d expect from a fast food takeaway. Nevertheless we can’t wait to return!
