There are quite a few traditional japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf and the don’t disappoint! Last time when we were close to Yabase, the queue was longer than our patience (and hunger) could afford, but today we made it on time for lunch and were lucky enough to have just 2 couples before us. This place doesn’t fool around :) We got the Lunch Box, which was a lot of food for a good price. Quick service, fresh food, cannot wait to come back! Bonus: their mugs match my nail color ;-)

Our regular fix for excellent Japanese food, especially on Sunday when everyone else is closed. We really enjoy Yabase in Düsseldorf. This is like a Go-To place for us, together with Soba-An down the street. The food is always good, have not been disappointed yet!
A genuinely authentic experience, this is by far the best sushi I've had outside Japan so far. The chutoro is being prepared perfectly and it is to die for! While not cheap this is an experience worth having, hands down.
The food is great, but the atmosphere and seating is not very cosy nor comfortable. I would love it if the interior was more beautiful and the tables arranged more nicely. But definitely nice for lunch time!
It's the best sushi place in town! It can be hard to get a reservation in normal conditions but I LOVE IT
