Amazing food (portions very big, be warned!) and lovely friendly staff. Service was a little slow but they were very very busy when arrived (hence 4 stars). Food was worth the wait though and would highly recommend

The food was good. Unfortunately.. We were very disappointed with the staffs organisation, manners and social distancing. Our table was so close to another table and staff/ everyone were walking close to each other. A staff member actually walked into a customer. The staff insisted that we gave a credit card over to open a tab but we could see they just left them in glasses behind the bar. We witnessed staff trying to decide who's card belonged to which table and then a member of staff left someones card on bar for 5 minutes. We were relieved that we didnt hand a card in even though the staff made us feel awkward about not doing so as we said we would pay as we went. Our drinks were left on the bar with locals flooded around breathing on them so we had to ask for our drinks to be brought over. The staff were rude and didn't apologise for any of the issues (and we made it clear we werent happy). Trying to get the bill was painful and we were happy to leave due to the issues above.

Best food for miles! We were staying in the area for a week and visited twice after a great first visit. Traditional pub with quality food, varied specials, steak and very good vegetarian choices.

Excellent service and food. Would definitely want to dine here when I'm hiking Snowdon again.
