Wow!! Last night was amazing we had dinner at this restaurant and we were blown away. Not only did the chef come out to greet us, the staff hit a 5 star on all steps of service. Food was amazing and the drinks were as well, definitely be back. The hand written letter by the chef/staff was nice! This place is definitely a gem!

I can’t say enough good things about my first experience at Xiquet. From start to finish, the service, food and ambiance were top notch. We were seated right next to the kitchen where you are able to watch Chef Danny and his team execute beautiful five star dishes from start to finish. The staff was very accommodating and service/timing of food was impeccable. They did a great job navigating COVID restrictions while still making us feel comfortable and at home in a relaxed atmosphere. It was truly the best meal I’ve had in DC and I cant wait to go back!

We got delivery from Xiquet recently and it was excellent! They managed to include some nice personal touches even though it was a delivery order. We have not been doing much high-end take out and delivery during covid, but we’re so glad we tried Xiquet. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes in our chefs tasting menu and hope to visit the restaurant when the pandemic is over!

Chef Danny never ceases to amaze us with his food. His paella is amazing, as well as all the other food that we ordered from Xiquet. As for the dessert, it is unbelievable. My wife and I often stop by the restaurant to order dessert to go only.

My wife and I came to the restaurant as our way of celebrating and also to break up the monotony of COVID life. We were gifted one of the most memorable and tasty experiences we’ve ever had in all of DC. First we enjoyed a drink in their “living room” area which they explained as their way done eating a more intimate and friendly atmosphere just like going to your friends house for dinner (if your friend is a word renowned, award winning paella chef). Obviously with COVID it was also a convenient staging area to avoid crowding the dinning area but once we can be in spaces with other people it will be a great place to enjoy a drink and socialize. We opted for the tasting menu with one addition of the iberica pork to his signature paella dish. Every dish was beautiful presented and mouthwatering. We will definitely be returning ourselves and with friends. Chef Danny is not to be missed and Alex the manager was a fabulous host.

I went here for a special occasion Friday lunch and it was incredible... such a treat yourself meal. It was my first time dining indoors and I felt super comfortable due to the precautions taken by the staff. The paella was the BEST I EVER ATE. The desserts were incredible, and so unique. Chef Danny checked on us and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Would not hesitate to go back!

Xiquet was amazing! Chef Danny and his team were all so welcoming and excited to have us. The experience stood out from other fine dinning restaurants around DC. Everything on the menu was 10/10 and the chef even gave us extra food to try with no additional cost. Chef Danny greeted us when we arrived and checked on us throughout our meal. They have an open kitchen so that you can see how the food is being made which was a cool experience. After dinner, Chef Danny spent more time with us to just chat and get to know us. We learned more about his background, experience with food, and his restaurant. It was great getting to know him and we will definitely return especially because the menu changes every month. We’re excited to try more of his creations.

Took a small break from quarantine to try something different with my wife. The safety of the staff, level of service, and quality of food was amazing. We did the eight course tasting menu which included unexpected surprises. The paella was great - could have been less salty but still great. The service was next level and genuinely friendly. Definitely would return.
