What a wonderful destination... Gotta go back and stroll a mile or two of ‘unrestricted’ beach.
Playa Sonrisa is the most tranquil place I have ever stayed at. It is a beautiful slice of the surrounding paradise where you feel 100% part of nature yet safe and provided with all the basics you need to totally unwind and turn off your mind. There were only a few other guests when we visited but the resort spreads out people well so you will always have maximum privacy even with more people around. There is a constant wind, we never had to worry about bugs and had ample air movement in our room to serve as “eco-airco”. There are no people from other hotels walking by, this is your slice of paradise for the time of your stay. The palapas on the property are super cool looking, well designed, everything is in a good shape and it if fun to stay in/dine in. The other buildings are also nice coastal MX designs, they are pleasant and scenic to be around. It is some drive from Cancun but the roads are easy and fast, it is well worth the trip.

Un lugar espectacular, los anfitriones de lo mejor, la comida riquísima y de primer calidad. la limpieza de a 100. Estuvimos muy agusto y relajados disfrutando de este verdadero paraíso. No se lo pueden perder, vale mucho la pena visitar el lugar.

Excellament reçus par Don et Cindy nous avons passer 5 inoubliables journées. Le lieu est paradisiaque. Seul petit bémol nous sommes arrivés quelques jours après une grosse tempête dû à l'ouragan de la côte ouest et les algues ont débarqué sur la plage mais rapidement l'eau est redevenue cristalline. Amoureux de la plongée vous ne serez pas déçu s de la faune aquatique tropicale du lagon. Endroit et hôtes exceptionnels à fortement recommander.
