A hidden gem nestled in the slow, Suffolk countryside! A 400 year old barn, beautifully converted into a country store and restaurant, using locally sourced products as much as possible. 4 acres of garden to explore during the spring and summer. Shetland sheep roaming in the field adjacent to the restaurant. A local farmers market runs every Saturday- Wooster's Bakery stall is a must visit, the buttery, flakey crossiants are to die for. The gardens have been open free of charge for Lockdown 2.0, so I decided to pop in for a little fresh air and to enjoy the autumnal colours. There's an outside cafe offering away a take away service. I thoroughly enjoyed a hazelnut latte and a chilli honey and salami, stone baked pizza...and can't forget to mention the lovely team of staff, attentive service which always comes with a smile. There are benches dotted throughout the grounds, where one can sit and enjoy the tranquility and find rest during these uncertain times. A wonderful afternoon spent.
Outdoor pizzas in the middle of December...?! surprisingly delicious, covid safe and good fun!
This place is absolutely amazing. You can have a walk around the grounds meet some animals then go to their amazing shop then finishing off with a incredible meal. I highly recommend this place for a day out.
Lovely sunny afternoon spent at Wyken Vineyard. Served by a lovely girl called Jess. Very friendly and helpful. Pizza tasty, lads on pizza van friendly.
