Wybers chippy has a reputation for large portions- from the size of the chips to the whale-like pieces of fish and tonight's meal was no different. As it was around 7pm when I went, the fish was cooked to order. Whilst meaning that you had to wait a little longer, its definitely worth it for the freshly cooked fish you get. Plastic screening has been installed as well. The only slight negative is its cash only which is a surprise, especially given the pandemic, but it's not a huge issue as theres a cash point in the co op round the corner. All in all, a great family favourite and one of the only places I like to go for my fish and chips.

A fantastic chippy serving everything you would expect from Haddock and Cod to Fishcake and Spam Fritters as well as kebabs. Excellent selection of sauces and the staff are very quick and efficient without making you feel rushed. Can be quite busy but not a very long wait, food is brilliant and plenty of parking available outside. Prices are similar to other local places but currently don’t accept card payments. Is very nicely decorated and always looks clean and hygienic.

Food wasn't bad. Should have a sign outside saying cash only rather than queueing ages to see the sign inside. Then having to go to bank to get money and come back to a bigger queue. Get a card machine. Then getting your food handed to you already wrapped without asking if we'd like salt and vinegar. Not great to be honest
