Took my dog here for a hair cut after a very long time of not getting groomed. He had some matting in his fur and needed a trim badly. He was there about 2 hours and came out looking great! Highly recommend them, thanks for doing a great job!!

Our rescue dog has just spent 10 very happy days at the Huntsman's. We have only had her 4 months so were a little anxious about how she would cope. Thanks to their brilliant care and high standard of cleanliness, she has come home a very happy, confident little dog. I can't recommend them highly enough. They took trouble to show us around and ask what personal needs the dog had. We are now confident that we have somewhere safe and caring for our little one to visit when we go have holidays or mini breaks. Many thanks. See you again soon. Haven't forgotten about the carpet off cuts!!
Went for a job \trial\ here and the conditions are absolutely appalling. Only 2 people were working that day (3 including me). There was poo and urine in the outside of the kennels which had remained there overnight as the dogs are shut inside during the night. If the dog didn't eat their dinner then their food bowls were left in overnight and if they still hadn't eaten by morning the food was thrown away, no records were kept to say that the dog had not eaten their food. After shutting the dogs in their outside areas i was left by myself to clean around 15 kennels without being shown what to do. I would walk around looking for someone for up to 30 minutes just to ask what i needed to do and how to do it. It took me around 4 hours to completely wash rinse and dry all of the kennels. I was then told that i was too slow as i should've completed the kennels in 2 hours (even though i had been left by myself and didn't really know what i was doing). Then one memeber of staff was very rude to me and said i should just leave as i was too slow and it was not fair on the dogs as they had be shut outside and she and the other member of staff would now need to clean the outside of the kennels as i had only just finished the inside. At no point did either member of staff come to help me or say that i needed to finished within 2 hours. For the morning that i was there no dogs were taken for walks and their was 20/30 dogs in the kennel that day.
Staff are rude, especially the owner. One member of staff knew what they were doing in the whole place. Went for a trial shift which I was told was just a “part time”job vacancy. I specifically told them in my email that I needed a part time job for September when I started my course. At the end of the, unpaid, shift, I was rudely told that I wasn’t needed in September and it was only a summer job (which was not told to me before I wasted half a day working there for 0 pay) and there was no point in training me and it was a waste of time. No thanks, no apology. Rude and useless. Staff are in and out of that place all the time. Don’t recommend as a business one bit. Appalled.
