Awful shop. Went in for a refund on some buttons that the batteries had run out on. I bought them in August. The batteries in my other one lasted 6 months. Manager was extremely rude and was reluctant to refund me. She spent 5 minutes searching for batteries in the shop to prove me wrong and seemed happy about it. Not only is the manager rude, the products constantly use batteries, some of the other staff are rude and the store is expensive. Will never return to any of the works stores again, I will buy the products from Wilko, Asda, WHSmith and B&M for however much. The store in the Dukeries Garden Centre was much better than this one. Think about that The Works. Don't repeat your mistakes. Very very disappointed.

Just wanted to say big thank you to ladies who works in Worksop branch , not got the names but so helpful and always so smiley and kind. I had my order delivered today in shop and one of the ladies helped me to carry these boxes to my car. That just made my day , so glad to see some kindness in this world , more people like that please. Thank you x
Great bike shop and very knowledgeable people, took my bike to joes on Claylands to get my gears dialled in and went to pick up 3 days later turns out they managed to snap my derailleur and after having an argument with joes I decided to take my bike elsewhere after a Recommendation from a friend went to the works. Tom took one look at my bike and new exactly the problem and offered to fix it right away. Very reliable and in safe hands had no dramas leaving my bike with Tom and his team. So it is safe to say I will not be using joes anymore!!!!! Keep up the good work!!
Discount shop selling books you will probably never read.
Good value kids books and toys. A good choice of books, both fiction and factual, for all ages. A nice selection of craft items and art supplies too. Although not a massive shop it does carry a good range of products. I have also bought some really nice storage boxes from the works which are very sturdy and have lasted well.
Nice clean & well stocked store friendly helpful staff I use a wheelchair & some of The Works store I find it difficult to go around but this inevitable had no problem s excellent well thought out store.
