I walked in with a problem and walked out with glasses that are classy and exactly what I needed. It’s a friendly local optician. They actually detected cataracts in both my eyes & rapidly referred me to hospital. 2 years later & I can see far better. They are always honest (but tactful) when helping me choose my new specs & at reasonable prices. Never feel hurried & always greeted by a bright smiling member of staff. They must be doing something right as Mr Grumpy Old Man himself has said he will get his new glasses from here

Not an economy opticians, but you get what you pay for, in this case quality. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Having broken the frame of my spectacles they transferred my lenses to a new frame which I was loaned until my new glasses were ready. My eye test was very thorough and was carried out with a clear understanding of my particular ophthalmic problems and needs. The dispensing optician had an excellent knowledge of his stock and was able to find a good selection of frames which conformed to my requirements. I came to this optician having been unhappy with the service from one of the low price outfits and was not disappointed at the excellent service I received at Davies Todd.
