EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER CARE I recently sent for cleaning a curtain which had been badly splashed with water from a radiator leak. It was returned to me with a severely damaged lining and still dirty fabric. When I took it to their Agent I told them circumstances causing its requiring cleaning. When I complained about its condition and the damage I was told that it was caused by its having been wet! They knew this because I had told them, and also because the water stain was clearly visible. Despite being forewarned and the evidence of their own eyes, and knowing of a possible risk of damage, they continued with the process leaving me with a ruined curtain. If they had asked me if I still wanted it cleaned, it would have been my decision, but they did not! They have offered \mediation\ but I was not told by whom or under what circumstances, but I would have to pay 170 - refundable if they were found to have been at fault. They have refused to compensate me for the curtain they have ruined. If all else fails I shall be taking it to the Small Claims Court.
