Visited on a Saturday as a bit of a fact finding mission and bearing in mind I know nothing about hardwoods I was very impressed with the response I had from the shop and yard staff. I just bought some offcuts today but will be going again and getting together an order at the moment.

I placed an order for approx 370 of hardwood and was told it would be ready in 7-10 days. After said time I rang to ask how it was going. My contact was Robert and after a few more times me ringing them and a few more days I was told my order had been lost. I asked 3 times if I could be contacted for delivery details as I am on a boat and would need to come to meet the delivery guy on a dinghy. After 3 weeks I was contacted to say my wood was at the quayside, no arrangement to meet. I ordered 17 lengths of hardwood. ALL SEVENTEEN were (luckily) between 10 and 25 cm too long. Also unsure that all the wood was of the same type. So, overall expensive, terrible service and a very questionable product.
