Gorgeous facility with a beautiful view of the bay. Wide array of small plates and pastries and coffee drinks. Very accommodating staff!

The Woodlands is ideally situated below the castle and at the start of many walks through the grounds around the harbour so is a perfect place for a coffee and quick lunch. I had the pesto pannini which was tasty and hot and the coffee was ok , definitely not the best ive had in Stornoway but then there is some competition today.

Lovely little place nestled in the trees below the castle. Offers fairly casual food, usual cafe stuff like soup, sandwiches, toasties etc. Inexpensive place to eat. Some vegetarian/vegan options available.
