I always love a tasting menu, but it's even better when it's locally sourced (from the lamb to the mushrooms). And even better: they gave us food and wine to start, then proceeded to give us background on every course. It takes a little time, but it's worth the wait! Beautiful setting, impeccable service and a delicious meal! I did not love all the wines, but that's the adventure of something new, right?

This restaurant is a meditation on perfection, and among the top 5 restaurants in Seattle, if not the top. My wife and I had a date here several years ago. They served us (by requesting ahead of time) an absolutely amazing 9 course vegan meal. Everything was executed flawlessly down to the tiniest detail. This is an experience, and well worth it at least once, though far from cheap. Consider pairing it with a concert at the winery and a stay at Willows lodge, and maybe a rental from Zadart for a full experience of luxury.

Unbelievably tasty food. Locally sourced and expertly paired with the best wines. Great hosts and excellent service. I just can't say enough nice things about the experience - we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves every time we have visited.

They always provide a great dining experience here with great food, wine, music, descriptions of the food and their history. They regularly change the nine course dinner type. This one was \Knife Smoke Fork.\ Ingredients are all NW based by a great chef. I missed pictures of a few courses because I couldn't wait to start eating them! Yum!

It's not uncommon to talk about the experiential nature of a restaurant, how they bring together the decor, lighting, music, plating, and flavors together into something more than the sum of the parts. That said, the Herbfarm truly was an experience beyond. The way everything about the meal interplays makes it feel more choreographed food performance than lavish dinner. When you are dining here, you will get to enjoy the food on so many more dimensions than just taste and presentation. The menu is so well-constructed and intentional, and the staff does an excellent job on contextualizing what you are being served that is almost like taking a food appreciation class. I cannot recommend strongly enough to visit the Herbfarm with an empty belly and open mind. I cannot wait to return and see what they come up with for next time.
