Lovely place. We visited for breakfast and stayed outside with the dog. Food was lovely. Service was great.
We had a great time here, the staff were great and welcoming, the sunday lunch was very tasty, and they catered very well for gluten free customers. The venue was really clean and well spaced out with a beautiful view over the lake.
Amazing location. Views of Chew Valley lake are spectacular. Not cheap (8 for 3 breakfast pancakes banana and fruit compote), but decent food.
Very nice, food, atmosphere, customers, view, car park etc visited on a Sunday therefore the roasts were in demand. I opted for the trout, locally caught in the lake. Two smallish pieces of fillet , I'd have liked a larger portion but then I have a good appetite. The topside of beef and pork loin were of substantial quantity. The veg was plentiful and unusual, especially the leak crumb. All in all we enjoyed our experience and will be looking to return, probably in the summer when we can hire a boat before a meal!
