Having interviewed several architects in Cornwall, choosing Gavin Woodford was a no brainer. His enthusiasm and professionalism shone through, with a balance of positively leading us forward yet always listening to our thoughts. When we briefed Gavin to design a 'West Indies style home that would look at home in Cornwall' he nailed the design at first pass. I cried on seeing it! He and his team then also obtained Planning approval first time. From the moment we met Gavin and Sarah, we knew we had found the right people to help us with our renovation project. Right from the off they took time to get to know us as a family, making sure they understood how we wanted to use all the spaces in our house. (We previously met other architects and not one of them took the time to ask us how we used our house). They were extremely professional and excellent at communication. We loved their creativity, ability and courage to think out of the box. The end designs were detailed and well thought out. Overall it was an absolute pleasure to work with Woodford Architecture and Interiors. Gavin and Sarah were so friendly and professional. Woodford Architecture have been fantastic from the beginning of our long project! They were friendly and approachable the first time we contacted them with our brief and we have since then developed a great professional relationship. Gavin and his team were great at listening to our ideas and then also added their own ideas to produce a beautifully designed house. They skilfully liaised with various consultants and planners to obtain our planning permission. The final design has been completed with such attention to detail that it has been fairly stress free for us!
