My husband came here for an appoinment and it took almost two hours. They moved him around about 8 different rooms in and out, they seemed they didn’t know where to put him. The doctor took two hours for pictures and once almost done said he forgot one made him wait in a room again while he went on to attend other patients and than go back afterwards. The waiting room was packed with people no one maintaining social distance whatsoever. Overcrowded and the assistants seemed like deer in headlights. They were so disorganized, overwhelmed and confused. I saw the pull two other people out of rooms and say their not ready for you so can you step out and come back to the waiting room after they already took them back and made them wait. They need to have way more organization. They seemed weeded and dazed. When I called earlier aswell to see if we can up his appointment to an earlier time since my husband had just came out of surgery and hadn’t had time to rest they lady was so unsympathetic and was like no we don’t have anything in such a nonchalant way. Very dissapointed that my husband after surgery had to sit around in pain for two hours for just pictures.

I have been seeing Dr. Parrelhoff for nearly twenty years now ever since I was a toddler (yes, even through the young ages where I would scream and kick at him because I hated him putting in eyedrops lol). He is very funny, kind, patient, and attentive. My only issue with this practice is that you have to wait a VERY long time to be seen. I have been here on days where there weren’t many patients in the office, yet I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be sent back to the exam room. This practice is alright, but I just wished they would see their patients in a timely fashion. If you go here, be prepared to bring to bring a book and a phone charger because you’ll be waiting awhile. I recommend Dr. Parrelhoff, but know that you might be waiting a bit to see him. He makes the waiting worth it.

I dont really like to do reviews. But I have to say something about my doctor Ailani. He is the best doctor, I've seen many doctors but no one like him. He took the time and he was concerned about my dry eyes and try many different medications and he said to me we will not stop until we find the right medice for you. Thank you Dr Ailani for never giving up on me. I feel 100% better thanks to you!!!

I was recommended to Dr. Ailani by 2 friends who had their cataract surgery with him. They told me he was great. He was !! My case was extremely difficult. I had severe astigmatism. I also suffer from increased eye pressure due to being glaucoma suspect. My cataracts have become increasingly worse over the past few years. And, if all that is not enough, I have extremely dry eyes (being treated with Rx as well as OTC meds). The dry eyes are a result of my bone marrow transplant ( for leukemia) , which has left my immune system compromised. So, not only was the operation scary to me, but I was deathly afraid of infection. I just had my second eye's cataract removed yesterday, and I am seeing things that I never knew were there before. My dry eyes are under control, as well as my pressure. There has been no infection and I am wondering why I did not have this procedure sooner. Now, to the surgical center. I have had cardiac arrest with certain sedatives and also have vertigo ( which at times makes me nauseous). The anesthesiologist was sensitive to my needs and not only did I not feel a thing, I had no side effects. Dr. Ailani's surgical skill is only exceeded by his interpersonal relations with his patients. He explained the entire procedure to me several times, answering all questions thoroughly, and even called me on the eve of surgery when I left a message expressing my apprehension. He consulted with my previous ophthalmologist to be certain no stone was left unturned as to my condition. This was one of the best medical experiences I have had. Diane Dvorak

Dr. Dao and the nurse we saw were absolutely fabulous when we went to this office for the very first time. Our son had been refusing to open his eyes for days due to a very painful corneal abrasion. Dr. Dao was very patient and gentle with him when she did the exam even though our son was reluctant to open his eyes. The doctor was very reassuring and communicative. She answered all our questions and made our son feel very comfortable. Thank you!
