The Royal School Wolverhampton Reviews | Rating 4.1 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

The Royal School Wolverhampton is located in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom on York House, Penn Rd. The Royal School Wolverhampton is rated 4.1 out of 5 in the category school in United Kingdom. Located in a leafy suburb of Wolverhampton, The Royal School is conveniently situated between the beautiful countryside of Staffordshire and the UK’s second largest city, Birmingham, educating children aged between 6 weeks and 18 years. It is a small, cohesive community with a friendly atmosphere for both day pupils and boarders alike. Our strong academic tradition is built on individual attention and encouragement, as well as excellent pastoral care based upon respect, tolerance and understanding of others. Small class sizes mean students achieve their full academic potential, whilst a wide range of extra-curricular activities is available to develop character and leadership. The Royal prepares pupils for Oxbridge and other top universities while also catering to pupils of all abilities. The School regularly achieves high standards in both A-Level and G.C.S.E. results, particularly in mathematics and the arts. The Royal combines traditional values with a modern outlook and a 'real-world' attitude. At The Royal, education is about developing the whole individual.

This school is TERRIBLE. The heating is never working and classrooms are cold. I can see my breath in classrooms. Many of the teachers are incompetent and only a few are actually decent. A Level grades that the school has published on the website are false and misleading. The level of sanitation in the canteen is a 5 but that also seems false as when I go to eat forks, spoons, plates etc. are filthy. The quality of the food is appalling and they always serve a variety of carbohydrates like potato, pasta, and rice, but barely any vegetables. Please do not send your children here. Although it is now a free school, the quality has been terrible from even before. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME SENDING YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

Yesterday and today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a two-day 5m digital planetarium experience to the approx. 400 primary students of The Royal School Wolverhampton. I received superb assistance from the Deputy Head and her colleagues. The 12 groups were highly organised, arriving ahead of schedule with shoes already off - allowing us to enjoy as much time as possible in the planetarium. Thank you Royal School Wolverhampton for a very pleasant two-day visit.
