Nice carvery. You can choose the meat and side, you want Chef's so kind, I told him I like to eat with a lot of gravy. So, he gave it a lot.

Good, quick service for a Saturday lunchtime. The new pizza and carvery menu has enough choice and options for vegans. There were seven in our party including two little ones so speed of service was important and staff did not disappoint. Well done, we'll be back (even if the locals looked a little 'challenging').

Me, my sister and my cousin went last Sunday for the Carvery. We were taken to our table and as we queued for our carvery they put a big family on the table directly next to us, we would have been forced to be in close proximity with strangers during a global pandemic. I know on a previous review they've said their seating is approved however they were not socially distanced and there was no space between our tables. We moved our drinks to another table and let the pub know however they seemed more than happy to seat a family right next to us. They had run out of most of the meat on the Carvery, and only had a bit of gammon left and because my cousin doesn't like gammon she had sausages on her carvery. Highly disappointing especially when the Carvery is more expensive on a Sunday and I normally enjoy the food there. One family actually had to leave and get their money back because all they were serving was pork. Definitely not somewhere I would return to anytime soon. The only thing that they had going for them is that the staff are very nice and friendly. My response to Newbridge response: unfortunately in this instance the government guidelines were NOT followed as we were sat directly next to a table of strangers with zero space between us. So please do not imply that I am lying. As this DID happen. And it should not have. The staff seated this family on the table next to us, and had we not taken the initiative to move ourselves the staff would have left it this way, seeing as they're the ones who seated us.

Went here for the 1st time and they only had Gammon on the carvery.. Really frustrating as I'd been waiting all day for a full plate. I'd give it a 3 but have to say the staff pull it back as they seem like a very friendly and helpful team.. I've returned since and have to say. Staff were spot on.. NO BEEF this time but food was excellent.
