So delicious!very huge portion and tasty food. We been in a busy evening and the service was not Great. I just want to recommend to improve a bit ..but otherwise was amazing! Really recommend!

Even in London, the ultimate cultural mixing pot, Ethiopian restaurants are not too common. Here's one which is sans pareil. The welcome is warm, the ambience relaxed. Staff are friendly and happy to explain the menu for first timers. The food is what makes this place special. The flavours are strong and unique, every dish caressing the taste buds. I shared a meat tasting platter for two and it was stunning. No other word necessary. Only reason one might be cautious is if hot food or rare mince is a problem. Even then, the server tells you that he's happy to change if the food is not to your taste. It was to my taste and the quantity was far more than enough. You won't need to eat again for a while. A word too about the malty Ethiopian beer - complements the food perfectly. In sum? Delicious food. I will be back.
Now as an Eritrean, I am very familiar with the cuisine and I know what good Ethiopian/Eritrean food tastes like. I have been to so many restaurants in the UK and abroad and nothing, and I mean nothing tastes as good as what this restaurant has to offer. Everytime I visit, its almost like going back home for a few hours and eating my mother's recipes again. Wolkite stands out!
So delicious! Great waiter/host with good advice on what to order (1 x vegetarian). Lots of options including veg. Platters are large and filling . Very tasty food!!!! Will defo be back
I'd eaten delicious Ethiopian food in Uganda and Ethiopia. First time I'd tried it in London. Had the vegetarian set menu and the tilapia. There were seven or eight vegetable dishes to savour - spicy but not chilli hot. The tilapia had a nice chilli kick to it. Will definitely be back. (Restaurant is set back from the road so very easy to drive past it - twice in my case.)
