One of my favourite places to buy wool. The staff are so friendly and helpful wish their website was operational

Clearly not looking for business. Owner decided they would prefer to kick a potential costumer out at 5.55pm (closing time is at 6pm) than wait a few minutes.

A surprisingly large selection packed into a small space. Usually the best prices in Dublin in terms of both fabrics and yarn. Large selection of patterns that include crotchet. Also a decent selection of delicate crotchet threads in various colours for lace work as well as any tools you may need. They're also great for ordering anything that they may not have enough of such as more of a specific colour of yarn etc as long as you keep the label to know which one you need.

I just went there and got some nice, reasonably priced yarn. But the selection was not great, and the staff was not very friendly - I am not going back there because of the customer service. The women at the counter made me feel as if I was interrupting her.

Great supply and selection of knitting wool. However I bought a ball of Pompom wool and when I got home discovered a dreadful musty smell from it. I telephoned shop to make them aware of this and that I would have to wash my knitted item before I could give it as the present it was intended for. Manager told me they had this problem before and blamed supplier???? If this was the case, my wool should have been checked before it was sold to me. She blamed supplier and said they had to return stock to them before. I have bought this wool in 4 different shops before and never had this smell and I presume 1 supplier brings this brand into Ireland???
