A lovely little walk, no car park so park in the village. Very popular with dog walkers and almost completely flat. The path follows the disused railway cutting so views aren't big but it does offer cover from the worst of the weather. Information boards keep you informed of the nature and habitat along the way. The nature trail only covers about a km but if you keep going you'll reach Brinscall then white coppice where the views really open up of the west pennine moors. To sum up, its a great little walk that's as big as you want it to be.

Great use of an old railway line.
Hidden gem Peaceful walking
Quiet, much used by local dog walkers. Shame it is not longer.
Beautiful, relaxing and quiet!
