I've only just visited this place, but I've known about it for a year, or so. My friend and I spent a half hour there, from ,1100 hrs, on the last Saturday of each month, and viewed what was on offer. We went back a couple of hours later and there was a lot more there. We stayed for the outside auction where there is no registration required and no fees. You have to pay cash immediately, though. They did have some interesting stuff, mostly items you would find in your garage and it was very cheap (two bikes for a fiver!). My friend won a big box of new M6 nuts and bolts four 4, but I didn't bid on anything. The main (inside) auction starts at 1500hrs, but we didn't wait for that. We had a cup of tea from the burger wagon and left. Great time was had by all.

Witham Auctions, run by John is the best auction house for the area. Highly recommended.

Held every month, the Witham auction is interesting and lively. Very friendly atmosphere, and a free cup of tea or coffee to ease your bidding. Never know what will be up for sale, but whatever it is will be cheap cheap cheap. Going...going...Great!
