Good for kids
Unexpectedly pleasant and green open space. Wildlife in abundance and a clear pathway for a riverside walk. Much of the site is covered with shrubs and nettles, so only the footpaths and the area immediately south of the A12 are accessible. Only downsides are the narrow access (7') to the parking, the constant roar of the A12 and the occasional bad smell from the water treatment works. Don't let that put you off, though.

Ducks, just soo many ducks. And they're free - just grab and go. I've got seven now. Only kidding the place is great.
Love it here. Only discovered since lockdown. Sometimes spoilt be young people congregating. There is always something to see.
Nice evening walk and a pleasure to see many other people of all ages using the paths.
A short quiet walk. Lovely setting.
