I traveled to Akron in February for a client visit. In searching for \seafood and steak\, I found Wise Guys. This is a cant miss place. The food and dining experience is second to none. The restaurant size is very reminiscent of dining scene from the God Father. It just has that nostalgic feel.

Food was amazing, great service, cozy romantic atmosphere. I loved that we weren't rushed to eat and get out. We had a steak and rack of lamb, the calamari app, and lemoncello cake was ah-mazing
Absolutely love Wise Guys! The meals are always delicious and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Always a wonderful experience!

RUDE, INSENSTIVE, & UNGRATIOUS! Our crew used to visit Wise Guys every 6 weeks or so. My sister is going through chemo and for her first venture out in months, she picked Wise Guys. So, we called ahead and explained our situation and asked to arrange for our server to wear a mask while taking our order and bringing food. We offered the server could take their mask off when away from our table. The owner refused to make any accommodations. Not only is this not in line with our current public health orders, it's insensitive and no way to treat regular customers. We will never be back. I understand this is a really hard time, especially for our local restaurants, and I typically would give grace. However, the owner was incredibly audacious, disrespectful. and insolent. In the end, I'm really glad they were so rude, we found a new place that was overly helpful, the service was excellent, and the food was far superior. I also sincerely question whether they follow any basic health practices if they can't take pause to wear a mask for a few moments. With so many other local options who are taking appropriate precautions for customers and staff - don't go here!
