Absolute premium service. Simon is not only knowledgeable about wines, but also about lifestyle and cultures in Burgundy, so this is a ‘beyond wines’ private tour. Talking about wines, he is also a person who is well connected in Burgundy, and can get you access to some of the private wine makers and have in-depth tasting and talks with them. We have been a few times on our own from Belgium to Burgundy before, but this time with Simon’s service, we were able to have more systematic understanding on Burgundy, and of course exposure to very good wines. Simon has international work experience and has always worked in hospitality industry before, and is a trustworthy driver, so you will be in very good hands :)
We have used Simon's company in fall 2019, for our first time in France. He was recommended by the hotel we stayed at. We had the best time in France during 2 days with him. Great selection of restaurant, and off the beaten path winemakers. So glad to have the wines arrived home now, and can't wait to use his service next time in Burgundy

My wife and I recently visited Beaune and wanted to hire a driver for a day to help us explore the area. We were lucky enough to have Simon as our driver and it was a wonderful experience. We arranged our tours ourselves and gave him the itinerary, but he added so much to our day with his knowledge of the area and expertise in the wine industry (he's a sommelier himself). He took us on back roads and side streets to show us tiny, historic villages with great views of the vines from the top of the hills. We enjoyed our conversation with Simon as much as the tours we arranged, and I would recommend anyone considering hiring a driver or arranging a tour to contact Simon at Heritour Travel....you won't regret it.

Fantastic 5-Star Wine Tour for 2 full days in the heart of Burgundy! Simon was the perfect tour guide, a gracious teacher and sophisticated host. Our tour took us from the tip of the Côte de Nuits through every beautiful vineyard of the Côte de Beaune. The private, guided tastings, 17th Century cellar tours and an extraordinary Grand Cru lunch were beyond anything we could have imagined. After 2 very full and fabulous days with Simon, we left with a solid understanding of French wines and a great love of French wine culture. We will be back, and Heritour Travel will be our first call!
