Do not go to Ranelagh polo club under any circumstance!!! Ranelagh is the WORST run polo club I have ever come across in my life. The pitch is a concrete motorway, the games are either cancelled last minute or running very late and most importantly, the management (Oscar Mancini) is a money-grabbing thief. The welfare of the ponies should come first in polo, these ponies are treated abysmally- ridden into the ground and turfed out in a field (if you can find one). There have been a number of incidents where ponies have escaped from the fields and ended up on main A-roads. There is always a problem when I have visited Ranelagh in the past, and unfortunately that will never change with Oscar at the helm.
