Have been walking here for 30 yesterday. The wonderful park less than an hour from Central London with good parking Coffee shops and toilets... Can get busy on weekends particularly bank holidays so to get the best go weekdays

Great place to have a long walk without getting muddy if you don't off the main walking routes. Even when it's busy you are able to remain a safe distance from other people.
This is such a wonderful park - great any time of the year. Landscape variety is amazing: there is pine wood, heather garden, giant sequoias, and many more areas. Love all the colours of autumn here, spring brings beautiful rododendrons in bloom - well worth a visit in May. There are a few vans selling refreshments around the park, which is definitely a bonus.
Stunning Autumn walk with friend and my dog. The scenery and peaceful ambience. All other walkers very friendly and say ...good morning. What a joy.!!
